Toronto International Festival of Authors

Connect with Canada’s biggest and longest-running festival of literacy and some of the world’s best contemporary authors. While the event is being held at Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre, there are also online offerings to take advantage of.
Ontario Garlic Week

For the foodie, don’t miss out on Garlic Week at city restaurants! This cross-cultural celebration teams area chefs with local farmers and of course, consumers of this delicious herb!
The Virtuosity of Blackness 6.0

This showcase highlights some of the city’s best and up-and-coming Black artists. Its goal is to support local artists and encourage creativity and networking. With more than 35 performers, there is plenty to experience!
Forever Fest

Halloween Haunt

It’s not fall without Halloween! This captivating festival exhibits over 1.5 million LED and RBG lights with enchanting animations. These lights are also paired with some haunting and freaky sounds and music.
Nuit Blanche
October 1
This popular all-night festival has now expanded to Etobicoke, North York, and Scarborough. You now have even more options to enjoy the city’s celebration of contemporary art! Take in as much as you can from sunset to sunrise. You’ll see works from local, national, and international artists all on display.
HORROR-RAMA Toronto
October 1 to 2
It’s an Indie horror film convention, the only one in the city! You’ll see performances, and meet celebrities, artists, vendors, and enjoy panels of experts during this 30-hour festival. Don’t miss out if you’re a horror film aficionado!
Poutine Festival
October 14 to 16
Head up to the Street Eats Market at Scarborough Town Centre to celebrate the ultimate Canadian comfort food. You’ll have many choices available to taste some different interpretations of this delicious Canadian classic.
ImagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival
October 18 to 23
With 100 shorts films organized into 13 programs and 17 feature films, there is plenty of great Indigenous content to sit back and watch. Ticket packages are now on sale with individual tickets up for grabs on October 1. And, don’t forget TD Bank’s contribution, which includes free entry on Friday, October 21!
The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair
November 4 to 13
2022 is the 100th anniversary of this iconic event, titled, “A Century of Champions”. Make sure to attend the Royal Horse Show, one of the world’s top equestrian events. A win here in any event gives these athletes international recognition, so be prepared for intense competition!
Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival
November 9 to 20
